A Dayton High School student sits outside the school Thursday at 4:35 p.m. as smoke billows high in the mountains above Dayton. The Como Fire was reported about 2:55 p.m. and centered about 17 miles east of Carson City.
Como Fire From Dayton High School (05/08/2008)		A large smoke plume rises from the Como fire on Rawe Peak in Dayton on Thursday afternoon. Officials said the fire was started by an excavator working in the area and resources from around the region continued to arrive to the remote site.
