The use of heavy equipment is an important part of fighting wildlifires, as well as conducting prescribed burns. On the Evans Road Fire, there are currently 31 tractor/plow units; 3 flex tracks; 3 helicopters; 19 engines; 1 scout plane, 1 air tanker
