Today, the Shasta-Trinity National Forest, in cooperation with Northern California Interagency Incident Management Team (NorCal Team II), has issued a road and fire area closure for the Wallow Fire as described below:
Closure Area
From Forest Glen - Highway 36 east to Highway 3.
Highway 3 north to Tule Lake Road
Tule Creek Road west to Forest Road 3N08
Forest Road 3N08 west to Forest Road 10
Forest Road 10 to County Road 316 (Deep Gulch Road)
Country Road 316 southerly to the South Fork of Trinity River
South Fork of the Trinity River southerly to Highway 36 - Forest Glen
Note: This area closure does not apply to area residents or Forest Service special use permittees and contractors.
