Final Update, Castle Rock Fire, September 7, 2007

Incident: Castle Rock Wildland Fire

This will be the last posting to Inciweb from the Castle Rock Fire barring any future and significant fire developments. The Castle Rock fire has moved beyond the suppression stage and currently restoration and recovery efforts are ongoing in the fire affected areas.

An updated forest closure announcement and map have been posted on the Inciweb site and at www.blainecounty.org.

On Saturday and Sunday, September 8 and 9, 2007 the Wildland Firefighter Foundation will be setting up a booth on 3rd Avenue in Ketchum, ID. The Wildland Firefighter Foundation supports fallen and injured firefighter's and their families by providing monetary and other assistance during times of need.
