Finding Open Places to Recreate
Boise, ID - As another weekend approaches, the public is reminded that there are still many road and trail closures on the Boise National Forest due to ongoing wildfires. These closures are especially important to observe when weather conditions call for winds that may make fire behavior unpredictable, such as is the case this Saturday. The closures were put into effect to provide for public and firefighter safety, so people are urged to choose one of the many open areas elsewhere on the Boise National Forest until conditions near the fires improve. For a complete listing of open recreations areas, please go to www.fs.fed.us/idahofires.
