Firefighters Continue to Contain Tongue Complex

Boise-The Tongue Complex located about 40 miles south of Silver City, ID, is expected to be fully controlled by Sunday, July 28. The fire is currently 95% contained, and California's Type II South Central Sierra Interagency Incident Management Team returned command of the fire to the Boise District BLM today at 6:00 AM. The Incident Command Post in Jordan Valley, OR, will be relocated to the Boni Spike camp until full control is announced on July 28.
