Containment: 97 percent Fuels: Timber, logging slash, brush and grass
Terrain: Steep, rugged Resources: 4 crews, 11 engines, 3 dozers, 10 water tenders
Total personnel: 403 Available air support: 3 helicopters.
Firefighters are continuing the rehabilitation of the last fire lines on the Canyon Complex on the Plumas National Forest. The French - Bear Fire and the South - Frey Fire were declared contained at 6:00 p.m. yesterday. Only the Scotch Fire remains uncontained due to the inability to safely approach the open line. Small isolated portions of heat remain on the daily infra-red reports of the area.
Some heat remains in the interior of the fire. Smoke will be noticeable in the area for an extended period of time, but that from the Canyon Complex will be diminishing.
At 6:00 p.m. today, the Arizona Central West Zone Incident Management Team will turn over management of the remaining suppression and rehabilitation activities to the Pacific Northwest 2 Team that is currently managing the Rich Fire. The remaining patrol and rehab of the Canyon Complex will be conducted under their management.

Scotch Fire: 13,009 acres Containment 90%.
