Later this afternoon containment lines will again be tested as high winds out of the North and Northwest are forecasted.

A Red Flag warning has been issued for the peak burning period (1-6pm). Atmospheric instability and gusty winds will be present for the next few days.

Crews have been working hard to construct 7 miles of hand lines and 23 miles of dozer containment lines in the last few days. They will continue to improve and patrol those fire lines. Also firefighters are transitioning into heavy mop-up operation.
