Additional Road Closure at Lindbergh Lake Fire

July 24, 2008, 1:30pm, Condon, Montana - Fire officials announced today there will be an additional road closure due to the Lindbergh Lake Fire. Road number 79 (Bunyon Lake Road) is now officially closed until further notice. The road closure is necessary to maintain public safety. As fire crews continue to make progress, more traffic is expected on this road.

The plan for today is to reinforce established fire lines and continue to work on containing the fire. Also, fire crews are deploying hose lays in order to aid with ongoing mop up operations.

Members of the public traveling in the area should stay aware of road and area closures while fire crews continue to work on the fire. For the latest information, please call the Fire Information Center at 406-754-3023 between the hours of 8:00 am and 6:00 pm.
