7:45 PM Evacuation and Closure Notice
Incident: Beaver Creek Fire Wildfire
While Highway 75 is closed to through traffic from the Elkhorn light to Ohio Gulch, people who want to leave their homes on eigher side of the Highway will be allowed to use the road for exiting the area. Firefighting activities will contiue to take place on the highway and intense smoke has reduced visibility in several areas.
- Resident of Hailey west of River Street and north of Cedar Street who were evacuated earlier are now being allowed to return to their homes. Please be advised that the area remains under Pre-Evacuation notice. Maintain situational awareness and be prepared.
Greenhorn Gulch, Golden Eagle, and Timber Gulch south down to Treasure Lane west of Hwy 75
All East Fork north to Hospital bridge on both east and west sides of Highway including Broadway Run
All Indian Creek, Ohio Gulch, and Heatherlands (includes Valley Club) Deer Creek from the Big Wood Bridge westl
Treasure Lane south McKercher Blvd. including Aspen Lakes West of River Street and north of Cedar Street in Hailey (Does not include Albertson's)
Croy Creek Canyon from Big Wood Bridge west
Baker Creek on West side of Hwy 75 south to North Fork (SNRA Headquarters) including Easley. (Does not include Galena Lodge)
If you are physically unable to evacuate call 911All Services to these evacuated areas will be discontinuedYou will not be allowed to re-enter the area until the danger has passed. You will be notified by Alert and this website when it is safe to return. Check back here for updates.
- PRE-EVACUATION AREAS Gimlet to North Fork (below SNRA Headquarters) on both sides of Hwy 75 . This includes Warm Springs and the Cities of Ketchum and Sun Valley.
Begin preparations now so that you can leave immediately should conditions deteriorate. Maintain situational awareness. If you are in danger, DO NOT WAIT for a Evacuation Order. LEAVE IMMEDIATELY
