Incident: Beaver Creek Fire Wildfire
MANDANTORY EVACUATION: Baker Creek on the West side of Hwy 75 to North Fork (SNRA Headquarters), including Easley.
NEW EVACUATION!!! South of Cold Springs Gulch to the existing closure at Timber Gulch, west of Highway 75. Excluding the St. Lukes Hospital
West side of Highway 75 - Timber Gulch south to Zinc Spur including Deer Creek, Greenhorn Gulch, Golden Eagle.
East side of Highway 75 - East Fork south to Indian Gulch including Ohio Gulch and Heatherlands including Valley Club.
MANDATORY EVACUATION AREAS Take your essentials belongings and pets and GO NOW!
MOST RECENT FIRE UPDATE Message from Blaine County Sheriff Please be aware that residents will be notified through the Citizen Alert System and the Sheriff's website www.blainesheriff.comwhen it is safe to return to evacuated areas. Return Notifications will be done in phases to allow for a safe and smooth travel transitions. Please check back here for up to date information. At this time the Wood River Medical Center Hospital is open and NOT under Pre-Evacuation Notification. The hospital does have contingency plans for evacuation should they be needed.
Residents are encouraged to evacuate SOUTH Avoid Ketchum and Sun Valley areas.
If you are physically unable to evacuate call 911. All Services to these areas will be discontinued. You will not be allowed to re-enter the area until the danger has passed.
Treasure Lane south McKercher Blvd. including Aspen Lakes West of River Street and north of Cedar Street in Hailey (Does not include Albertson's)
Croy Creek Canyon from Big Wood Bridge west Gimlet to North Fork (below SNRA Headquarters) on both sides of Hwy 75 .This includes Warm Springs and the Cities of Ketchum and Sun Valley
Begin preparations now so that you can leave immediately if conditions deteriorate. Maintain situational awareness.
If you are in danger, DO NOT WAIT for a Evacuation Order. LEAVE IMMEDIATELY. Residents are strongly encouraged to prepare for immediate evacuation to SOUTH. Avoid Ketchum and Sun Valley areas. Residents in Pre-Evacuation zones with no means of transportation or who are physically unable to evacuate on their own, should ask a neighbor or call (208) 578-3831. Please be aware that officers are unable to go door to door for these pre-evacuation notifications as our resources are tied up with mandatory evacuations in other areas at this time.
