Lodgepole Update 1600 Hours 7/28/2013
Incident: Lodgepole Wildfire
At 1600 hours the Lodgepole fire is burning in a north-northeasterly fashion, on the south side of the West Fork drainage and in the head waters of Armison and Lane Gulch, while still remaining south-south west of Bear Creek.
Fire managers are evaluating the proper response to ensure firefighter and public safety.
The activity on the fire is a result of the current weather, fuel, and topography conditions and not from fire being applied manually, per Deputy Incident Commander Tony DeMasters.
