Fire managers treated approximately 300 acres with prescribed fire in the Point area on February 19. Approximately 2,130 total acres have been treated since February 1, 2013 in the Five Lakes, Hunting, and Point burn units.
Fire managers do not plan to continue ignitions on February 20,2013 based on predicted rain. Ignitions are anticipated to continue later this week in the South Boundary and Golf Course burn units, as soon weather conditions are favorable.
