Incident: Vallecito Wildfire

State officials have issued a health advisory for portions of eastern La Plata County because of smoke being generated bt the Vallecito Fire in the San Juan NF.
The Colorado Dept. of Public Health and Environment says the advisory applies to the towns of Durango, Vallecito and Bayfield and is expected to be in effect at least until
4 p.m. Sunday. The young, elderly and people with heart disese or reespiratory are being asked to stay indoors if the smoke becomes too thick.
Daily assesments will determine future health advisories.
