EMERGENCY ROAD CLOSURE
BOZE FIRE
UMPQUA NATIONAL FOREST
Pursuant to Title 36 CFR Part 261.50(a) and (b), the following acts are prohibited within the boundaries of the Umpqua National Forest, Tiller Ranger District, as described in this order and attached Appendix A - Location Area Map to provide for public health and safety due to active fire and extreme fire conditions in the area until October 28, 2009 or unless rescinded sooner:
1) Being on the road. [36 CFR 261.54(e)]
Described as: Forest Service Road (FSR) 2715; beginning at the junction of FSR 28 and FSR2715, known as French Junction, continuing west on FSR 2715 to the 715 spur road.
Pursuant to 36 CFR 261.50(e), the following persons are exempt from this order:
·1) Any Federal, State or local Officer or member of an organized rescue or fire fighting force in the performance of an official duty.
These prohibitions are in addition to the general prohibitions in Title 36 CFR Part 261, Subpart A.
This order will become effective immediately.

Violation of this prohibition is punishable by a fine of not more than $5,000 for an individual or $10,000 for an organization or imprisonment for not more than 6 months or both, Title 16 U.S.C, Section 551 and USC 18 U.S.C. 3559 and 3571.
