Pending favorable conditions, fire managers are planning a prescribed fire on the following project Friday October 23.

All prescribed fire activity is dependent on personnel availability, weather - including ventilation conditions, and approval from the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (www.azdeq.gov).

Lake Mary Project: Approximately 500 acres located south of Lower Lake Mary and Lake Mary Meadows off Forest Road 132 and 296A. Smoke should move northeast with the forecast winds; some light smoke may be noticeable around Lake Mary Road during ignition, but should disperse quickly.
