Spring Valley Prescribed Burn Cancelled for Today, Nov. 4

Plans to burn approximately 400 acres today on the Spring Valley Project are postponed until conditions improve. The project is located about 8 miles north of Parks and northeast of Sitgreaves Mountain on the Williams Ranger District.
Fire managers will continue to monitor the weather, fuels and ventilation for possible ignitions on 233 acres of the project Thursday, Nov. 5.
