Railbelt Complex Announcement

Temporary Flight Restrictions and Parks Highway Road Conditions

The Temporary Flight Restriction (TFR) over the Railbelt Complex now only includes the Rex Creek Fire. Airspace over the Parks Highway corridor adjacent to the Railbelt Complex remains open. Pilots are advised to check NOTAMS for complete information about TFRs. Please report new fires to Flight Service Stations or (800) 237-3633.

The Parks Highway remains open. There have been no road closures of the Parks Highway due to operations on the Railbelt Complex. Periods of dense smoke have made driving conditions hazardous at times. Current visibility is good. Drivers are advised to keep their headlights on and watch for emergency vehicles leaving and entering the highway.
