JESUSITA FIRE EVACUATION UPDATE

May 14, 2009

EFFECTIVE AT 9:00 AM-THE CURRENT MANDATORY EVACUATION ORDERS IN EFFECT HAVE BEEN DOWNGRADED TO AN EVACUATION WARNING. RESIDENTS MAY RETURN TO THEIR HOMES IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS:

· GIBRALTAR ROAD

With this change there are no mandatory evacuation orders in effect.

The Evacuation Warning area has been reduced. The new boundaries for the evacuation warning area are:

· Western Boundary: Gibraltar Road

· Southern Boundary: El CieIito to Sycamore Canyon

· Eastern Boundary: Cold Springs Creek north to Camino Cielo

· Northern Boundary: Camino Cielo

A "Red Flag" warning remains in effect and is expected to remain through this morning. The public is reminded that there are still several fire crews and trucks in the Gibraltar Road and East Camino Cielo areas. We are requesting that residents only enter these areas until the Red Flag warning is lifted.
