San Marcos Foothills Preserve - Closed
San Marcos Foothills Preserve
The San Marcos Foothills Preserve is closed to the public until further notice due to fire damage, ongoing concern for public safety and continuing fire fighting operations. Approximately 70% of the San Marcos Foothills Preserve has been affected by the fire.
County officials are continuing to assess Preserve conditions and expect to have more information by late next week. At that time, certain areas may be made accessible after the assessment is complete.
