EMERGENCY CLOSURE FOR PUBLIC HEALTH AND SAFETY
Road closure
WILLAME NATIONAL FOREST
MIDDLE FORK RANGER DISTRICT
Pursuant to 36 CFR 2 and (b), the following acts are prohibited on the roads described in this order within the Willamette National Forest, Middle Fork Ranger District beginning on the 26th day of September 2008, and remaining in effect until rescinded.
(1) Being on a road closed for public health and safety. §36 CFR 261.54(e).
Pursuant to Title 36 CFR 261.50(e), the following persons are exempt from this order:
(1) Any person with a permit specifically authorizing the otherwise prohibited act or omission.
(2) Any Federal, State, or local official or member of an organized rescue or firefighting force in the performance of an official duty.
(3) Owners or lessees of land in the affected area.
DESCRIPTION OF THE AFFECTED AREA:
Road Closure: Forest Road 5875 in its entirety and all adjoining spurs. Forest Road
2316 in its entirety and all adjoining spurs. Forest Road 5870 in its entirety arid all
adjoining spurs. Forest Road 5854 in its entirety and all adjoining spurs. Forest Road
2300-565 in its entirety and all adjoining spurs. Forest Road 2300-539 in its entirety and
all adjoining spurs. See attached map, Exhibit A.
