Gnarl Ridge Announcement

Incident: Gnarl Ridge Wildfire

Aircraft reports, satellite imagery, and lightning detection systems indicate thunderstorms have developed 30 miles south of the Gnarl Ridge Fire. These storms are moving northward and can be expected over the fire area within the next hour. Thunderstorms remain a possibility throughout the evening hours. Fire personnel should remember that besides lightning, thrunderstorms produce strong, gusty down-rush winds.
