Incident: Panther Wildfire

Current Fire Status
- Panther & North Ukonom fires - 75% contained, 48,770 acres.
- Slinkard fire - 100% contained, 374 acres
Activities Today
- One crew is assigned to monitor and patrol Panther fire and continue fireline suppression repair. With the continued drying, the fire may show activity in the Bridge Creek area.
Weather
A cooler air mass has been moving through the area resulting in a slight cooling in temperatures, low humidity and light winds. Today's weather will be sunny in the morning with possibly a few cumulus buildups in the afternoon. Today's maximum temperatures are 84-90 in the lower elevations, and 74-80 at mid slope. Humidity is 12-17% at low elevations and 15-23% at mid slope. Winds are variable 2-5 mph.
The Incident Command Post, previously located at Happy Camp, has relocated to the Armory at the Siskiyou County Fairgrounds. Base camps are located at Whites Gulch, east of Sawyers Bar, and at Orleans. The fires are currently under management of the Boise National Incident Management Team.
