Soda Complex: Announcement

Evacuations Remain in Effect

Incident: Soda Complex: Wildfire

(1) Mill Fire: the fire became very active late yesterday burning approximately 150 acres outside of the containment line, moving in the southeast to northeast direction. Approximately six residences are under evacuation at this time. These residences are located between Deadmans Flat and Sunset Gap to the east flank of the fire. The Lake County and Mendocino County Sheriff's Department are coordinating evacuations. Several spot fires have also occurred. Firefighters and aircraft continue to work to hold the fire in that area. Incident Commanders are evaluating firefighters progress and will re-populate the affected area when deemed safe for residents. There is no estimate for re-population at this time.
