Potential Power Outage for Big Bar Again Today
Incident: Iron Alps Complex Wildland Fire

Firing operations did not require interruption of power last night, however residents of Big Bar may experience a temporary power outage for a period beginning between approximately 4 pm to 10 pm today and lasting for approximately 6 to 10 hours as fire activity approaches the powerline in Price Creek drainage. Pacific Gas and Electric in consultation with the Incident Commander of the Iron-Alps Complex may be required to shut down power as a precautionary measure as the fire approaches the powerline. The fire is not expected to cause damage to the powerline.
