Effective TUESDAY, August 21:

What's OPEN in the Egley Complex vicinity:

- All roads and areas outside of the Egley Complex fire perimeter

- Delintment Lake, Emigrant, Falls, and Yellowjacket Recreation Sites as well as Allison Guard Station

What remains CLOSED in the Egley Complex vicinity:

- Motorized access on public lands within the Egley Complex fire perimeter. Access in this area is permitted by foot, horseback, or bicycle only.

If you're planning to visit the Egley wildfire complex area, traveling with a current closure map is essential. Maps can be obtained free of charge at the Burns District BLM office, the Emigrant Creek Ranger District office, the Malheur National Forest offices in Prairie City and John Day, or at B & B Sporting Goods in Hines.

Bureau of Land Management, U.S. Forest Service and Harney County officials are evaluating the Egley Complex closures periodically. For more information, please contact the Emigrant Creek Ranger District office at 541-573-4300 or the Malheur National Forest office at 541-575-3000.
