The 485-acre Ward Gulch Fire is three miles north of Rifle Gap Reservoir. It was reported at 11:30 a.m. Friday.
It was 100 percent contained on June 20. Crews will continue mop-up and patrol. Some smoke may still be visible as interior pockets of vegetation burn. Dust devils of swirling ash will also be common on windy days and may be confused with smoke.
