The Lake Incident is located off Interstate 5 at the Lakehead Exit (Exit #702). Engines, crews, and air attack units were involved in an aggressive initial attack that was very successful. The fire is now 100% contained and the incident should be put into patrol status at the end of shift today (10-4-12).
All roads in the area have been reopend. However, fire crews continue mop-up and PG&E crews are also in the area working to replace poles. Motorists are advised to drive with caution.
