The Parish Cabin Fire reported on the afternoon of August, 28, and is located near the intersection of Forest Roads 15 and 16, 15 miles northeast of Seneca, OR.
Command and management of suppression efforts for the Parish Cabin Fire is under, Oregon Interagency Incident Management Team 4 (OR IIMT4), Incident Commander Brian Watts.
Full suppression efforts are being implemented on this incident using direct and indirect methods while maintaining firefighter and public safety as the top priority.

Moderately dense pine and mixed conifer with scattered accumulation of dead down and woody fuels.
Interior islands of unburned fuel continue to burn out. Stumps continue to smolder throughout the fire.
Area Closure on the Forest. Completed line and burnout operations in all divisions.
Mop up and Rehab areas impacted by control activities.
The Malheur NF Type 3 IMT is now managing the fire.
