Crews continue to mop up and secure the line, as well as interior islands where Lahontan cutthroat trout and other theatened and endangered species remain threatened from backing fire in aspen stands and unburned islands. This will be the last update for the Willow Fire unless significant unforeseen events occur.

The fire continues to smolder and back through interior islands and resources continue to mop up along the control line.
Resources were able to tie the fire line in and are continuing to secure the line.
Resources will continue to secure unburned islands and further secure the perimeter today.
Resources will slowly continue to be released as objectives are being met.
