The Buckhead Complex of fires was the result of lightning storms in early and mid-August, 2012. The fires are mostly contained (with 50-100% containment). The last daily update was posted on August 24, 2012. Additional information will be provided if any new significant fire activity occurs. Closures will be reduced and eventually lifted as the area becomes safe for visitors.

| Planned Actions | Continue to patrol containment lines on all fires. Mop-up interior heat where able. Will be in patrol status until a season ending event. Initial attack any new fire starts on the Middle Fork Ranger District. |
