The Myrtle Fire was 100% contained on 7/24/2012 and continues to be under the command of a local Type 3 Team led by Incident Commander Tim Oliverius.

Crews are rapping up the rehabitation work and antipate having it completed in the next couple days.

A Burned Area Emergency Response from the Black Hills National Forest will continue their work on determining the post -wildfire impacts and identifing the most effective rehabilitation treatments.

Full demobilization of the Type 3 Team is expected early next week.
