Incident Overview
The Grand Fire is now 100% contained. The fire was discovered by the Red Butte Lookout on Tuesday, June 12 at about 12:30 p.m., and was fully contained by the end of the day on Monday, June 18. The fire, which burned on both the Kaibab National Forest and on Grand Canyon National Park, was contained at approximately 480 acres in size.
