Sky Crane fills up on water from Mill Creek while working on the Momyer Fire

The Momyer Fire began on Sunday May 8, 2011 at approximately 10:30 a.m., in the steep, rugged terrain of the San Gorgonio Wilderness. The fire burned in a north/north east direction, west of Alger Creek, north of the Momyer Trail and north of the community of Forest Falls. The reported acreage is approximately 150 acres with 100% containment. The Momyer Trail is closed until further notice.
