As of 7 p.m. on Thursday, the Reservoir Road Fire was declared 100 percent contained. The Great Basin Type 1 Incident Management Team turned management over to a local Type 3 Incident Management Team in the morning. Numerous firefighters and equipment assigned to the fire are being released; however, firefighters assigned to the Type 3 organization will still be working in the area. This includes one Hotshot Crew and two engines. Residents are asked to avoid driving on the roads early in the morning and in the evening during shift changes by firefighters and to limit tours into the fire area until work has been completed.
