The lightning-caused Hobble Fire was detected on August 30, 18 miles northeast of Williams. It is approximately 2,400 acres. The fire is being managed for resource objectives within a 45,000-acre area near the Hobble Mountains. Measurable precipitation fell on the fire Monday. Minimal growth is expected. This site will be updated if activity resumes.
