The fire remained within all control lines over Labor Day weekend. Isolated internal smoldering continues, developing active fire in unburned pockets in the late afternoons. Mop-up has been completed along the perimeter except for the northwest handline, where firefighters are still putting out recurring active fire from persistent pockets of heat in duff and heavy logs. This will be the final update unless developments warrant additional reports.
