Incident Overview

The Sequoia National Forest has lifted the Bull Fire Area Closure and reopened the campgrounds within the fire area. The public is reminded that even though the road is open they should expect to see firefighters and equipment working in the area. For your safety and the safety of the firefighters, please drive slowly and carefully.

Also expect to see smokes inside the fire area until we get rain. Please do not report those smokes inside the fire perimeter. Questions about fire conditions, as well as road, trails, and campgrounds closures can be directed to the ranger district office in Kernville at (760) 376-3781.
