Incident Overview
A steady demobilization of firefighters and equipment is underway as the Tecolote Fire is brought closer to containment status. The incident base camp will be relocated to Johnson Mesa and a Type 3 Incident Management Team (Bill Bryant, IC) will assume command at 8 PM June 21. The National Weather Service Incident Meterologist has forecasted a cooler, moister trend beginning Tuesday June 22. This monsoonal pattern is expected to yield wetting rains by the end of the week. Firelines have held against five days of Red Flag and near-Red Flag conditions.
