Incident Overview

Natchez Trace Parkway Engine #640 was returning from the COLD #1 fire and discovered a fire burning in a field with one large hay bale on County Road # 1948. The fire was advance toward to houses. The Engine Crew preformed a burn out operation prior to the tow homes to stop the advance of and help to aid in the the control of the COLD #2 fire. The COLD # 2 is also under investigation by the Lee County Sheriff Office. This fire may have possible been set by juveniles in the area. This was an assist to the Birmingahm Ridge Volunteer Fire Department.
