The Noble Fire was reported at approximately 2:30pm on Monday, September 14th. The cause of the blaze burning 5 miles north of Helena is under investigation. Some evacuation orders were issued Monday afternoon for residents of roughly 150 homes in the fire area, along with the following road closures: Mountain Meadow, Westhaven, Noble Lane, Antler Way, Snowdrift Road from Noble Lane east to Mountain Meadow, 5-G Ranch Way, and Mountain Meadow from Snowdrift to Black Sandy Loop. For the latest information regarding evacuations and closures, contact the Lewis & Clark County Sheriff's Department.
