It is located about five miles southwest of Jacob Lake and about half a mile northwest of Fracas Lake. District fire management personnel have mapped a planned management area of about 2,000 acres of largely ponderosa pine but do not expect the fire to complete the treatment area before seasonal moderating weather conditions set in.
