Incident Overview

The Forest Ranch Complex is located in Terrell County, Texas approximately 13 miles NW of Dryden north of the Big Bend. The fire was started by lightning and was reported at 6:15 p.m. Monday, August 17. This is a "sleeper" fire from thunderstorms that moved through the area several days ago. It is located in a relatively unpopulated area and access to the area is difficult. This fire is controlled.
