Incident Overview
The Knight Fire began on July 26, 2009. Firefighters successfully gained 100% containment of this fire August 11. Remaining work to be done on the incident has been turned over to the MiWok Ranger District. Suppression damage repair completion and the last of the personnel and equipment demobilization is expected by August 13. District fire managers will continue to closely monitor the remaining smoldering and burning areas within the fire's perimeter.
