Fire Behavior

Observed fire behavior for the Minto Flats South and Lunch Lake included; 5-7 foot flame lengths associated with running, group torching, and short range sptting.

Significant Events

Minto Flats South: Exhibited extreme fire behaviour with a smoke inversion and 20-30 foot flame lengths. Lunch Lake: Resources continued to mop up and secure perimeter along the fires North and East flanks.

Planned Actions

Minto Flats South: Personnel will be moved to work allotments along the Tanana River. Lunch Lake: Crews will continue to mop up and secure line along the Eastern and Southern flanks.
