Yesterday evening the fire was transitioned from a Type 3 to a Type 4 organization.
A soaking rain passed over the fire area this afternoon. Crews were pulled off the area as rain and wind could have caused safety issues. The fire area is estimated at 755 acres and is listed as 100% contained. Interior smoldering and some burning continues although fire lines are in place and hazards have been removed close to the fire line. Please do not enter the fire area. Some rehabilitation work has begun.
