Summary

The Ridge Fire began at 134 pm July 3. Burning northeast of Yucaipa, moving toward Yucaipa Ridge. Bryant Street and Hwy 38 are currently open. No threats to structures at this time.

Fire was 100% contained on July 6th. Firefighters will continue to mop up hotspots within the fire perimeter. At the peak, over 400 personnel were assigned, assisted by (3) helicopters, (6) Airtankers. Estimated 500,000 gallons of water (Helicopters and ground crews) and 60,721 gallons of fire retardant (dropped by fixed wing aircraft) were used to suppress this fire.
