Clover Fire Activity

Location: Sequoia and Inyo National Forests in the South Sierra Wilderness, north of Kennedy Meadows, California.

Acreage: 15,300 acres.

Status: 90 % contained.

Fire line rehabilitation has been completed. Clover will be under aerial patrol once daily. Fire received precipitation over the last couple of days.

The command of the fire has been assumed by Scott Williams, Kern River Ranger District, Fire Mgmt. Officer.

Committed Resources: 1 Helicopter

Pacific Crest Trail

The closure order for the Pacific Crest Trail and the Clover Fire Area closures have both been lifted. Hikers are urged to use caution in the fire area.
