| Remarks | It was found that 4 residences were threatened yesterday, but not recorded. One VFD vehicle was damaged by the fire and the personnel escaped uninjured. The fire was started by a POV catalytic convertor and the car was destroyed by the fire and the occupants excaped uninjured. A private oil field worker was operating a dozer when he noticed the fire and attempted to attack it with his dozer. He was overcome by heat and smoke which damaged his dozer and killed him. He was not assigned to the fire fighting efforts. 04/03- Local resources will continue to monitor. Fire was caused by a POV catalytic convertor with the car being destroyed but the occupants escaped unharmed. A private dozer operator was overcome and killed as he attempted to attack the fire on his own (not part of the fire fighting resources). |
