Forest Roads 15N010, 15N17Y and 15N07 have been reopened in the Titus Fire area. Within the Little Grider area Forest Roads 16N30, 17N16, 17N39, and 17N20 have been reopened. Forest Road 40N51 has been reopened in the Cherry Fire area of the Salmon/Scott Ranger District.Forest visitors entering the wildfire areas should drive with caution and watch for hazards along the reopened roads. The potential for active fire still exists. Be aware that wildfire has burned away debris in some areas--allowing logs and rocks to dislodge and unexpectedly roll down steep slopes. In addition, fire restrictions are still in effect through October 30, 2007. Open campfires are allowed only in certain wildernesses and designated recreation sites. Seven new fires were added yesterday. All fires are in areas with steep terrain. Some are inaccessible. Many remain unstaffed.Happy Camp District:Tom Martin Fire (approx. 40 acres): The community of Hamburg is still at risk. The fire is approximately one mile from town and approximately 100 structures threatened. Crews made significant progress yesterday lining the fire. Little Grider Fire (approx. 30 acres): The fire burned actively around 5pm yesterday and continues to burn up the drainage.
